“The Three-Legged Cat” Tour 28-31 July 2017

We invite you to join us on our very special trip to the Isle of Man. The visit corresponds with the weekend of the Manx Heritage Transport Festival, and other attractions may be available at an additional charge. The outline itinerary for this one-off holiday is  -

Friday 28th July – mid-afternoon meet at Bristol Airport (excellent bus connections from Bristol Temple Meads) for a late afternoon flight (EasyJet) to Ronaldsway, Isle of Man. Transfer by public omnibus to Douglas, with accommodation for three nights (including breakfast) at either the Trevelyan or Adelphi hotels. You will be given a 3-day “Go Explore” ticket which is valid on all steam railway services, electric and horse trams, the Snaefell Mountain railway and Bus Vannin road motor services. N.B. - not valid on Groudle Glen and Great Laxey Mine railways.

Saturday 29th July – Sunday 30th July – free days on the island to enjoy the festival and your tickets. A suggested itinerary will be provided, you will have the option to follow or disregard it as appropriate.

Monday 31st July – free morning. Meet early afternoon at Douglas ferry terminal for afternoon ferry to Liverpool, thence by train (¾ mile level walk to station)  to Bristol (Temple Meads or Parkway), arrival approx. 2200.

The guide fare, (to be confirmed before the final balance due date) which includes all train, air, ship and tram travel, three nights hotel accommodation (single rooms; discounts for twin rooms available) including breakfasts is –

£220.00 (no concessions)

Non-members supplement £5.00; flight/ferry-exclusive fares available on request. Return destinations other than Bristol also available on request. Under-18's must be accompanied by an adult.

Bookings (on the official form only) will be accepted from 13th December 2016, Note that a deposit of £125.00 per person (payable in instalments if preferred) MUST be received by the closing date of 14th February 2017 {Cheques/PO’s payable to “GWS Bristol Group”}. Bookings received after this date may be subject to a supplement. Balance may be paid by instalments; all balances payable by 9th May 2017. We strongly recommend that all passengers are in possession of valid travel insurance and are familiar with the conditions of travel (especially those relating to cabin luggage) published by EasyJet.
